One of the best things about Poland, was their food! (which is why it gets its own separate post). Their food was literally some of the best food that I have ever had in Europe, even after traveling through all of Western Europe and being in Italy and everything, it was THAT good! Before I came to Poland I really had no idea what Polish people ate besides perogies, but I was in for quite the treat! Their dishes are made with such warmth and richness that anything seemed pale in comparison. Their cuisine consists of perogies filled with meats and cabbage, breaded pork, potato pancakes, goulash, and so many more delectable goodies! Not only was the food good, but it was incredibly cheap. A whole three course meal with a nice cold beer was only a whopping $12. Needless to say, we were all so beyond content that we would come back to Poland just for the food! Now my mission is to find a good Polish restaurant near home!
